I convinced some friends who had never heard of him before to drive to Chicago with me for his show there in May (I live in SE Kansas, so it’s a bit of an outlandish drive—12 hours), and today when I went to buy my ticket, they’re sold out. So it’s a no-go.
I’m just really upset because I was super excited to finally get to meet him, since he’s, like… My favorite person in the entire world. And I was gonna get the shit together to get my tattoo (he’s gonna handwrite a lyric for me), but now I can’t.
Ultimately, I couldn’t afford the trip anyway, and I’m more than likely gonna see him twice this fall, but I don’t want to have to wait that long. I’m trying to not be so upset, but I just found out, so… Right now I just want to curl up and cry.
